International Women’s Day

A celebration was organized to mark “International Women’s Day” on the 10th of March in Gopalan School of Architecture and Planning.

The entire teams of GSAP were cordially invited to join the program.

The Guest of Honor for this event was Dr. Sita Shankar, Principal, Gopalan International School. A speech was addressed by Dr. Sita Shankar to inspire and encourage all the women as well as to change the mindset of the society that women should be given special importance. She also said that we should celebrate the presence of every man and woman in our life every day. Both the dean and Principal of the college also shared their inspired thought on celebrating the event.

A special program was organized by the students of Semester 1. The hall stage was beautifully adorned with flowers and lamps to give a warm welcome to all the guests.

The students performed various programs melodious songs and a scintillating dance performance.

All the women in the room were given roses by Dr. Sita Shankar as a token of honor.

The celebration was brought to a conclusion with a vote of thanks by Ms. Arya Archita thanking all the performers, the Principal, Dean and the Chief Guest and the audience for their presence.
